Imperial Prince Fushiminomiya Sadatsune (伏見宮貞常親王)

Imperial Prince Fushiminomiya Sadatsune (January 27, 1426 - August 15, 1474) was an Imperial family member during the Muromachi period. He received Nihon (the second rank of Imperial Prince) and Shikibukyo (chief of the Ministry of Ceremonies). He was a member of the hereditary Imperial family and the fourth family head of Fushiminomiya family.

Genealogy
He was the second Prince of Imperial Prince Fushiminomiya Sadafusa. His mother was Tsuneari NIWATA's daughter, who was from the Niwata family (Uda-Genji, Minamoto clan), MINAMOTO no Yukiko (Fuseimonin). His brother was Emperor Gohanazono.

His Miyasudokoro (lady of the bedchamber) was Shigeari NIWATA's daughter, MINAMOTO no Mitsuko.

Brief Personal History
He received the title Imperial Prince in 1444 and had a coming-of-age-ceremony in 1445, and received Nihon (the second rank of Imperial Prince) in 1464.

In 1456 his older brother, Emperor Gohanazono gave permission for him to name 'Fushimidono Gosho' (Fushimidono) after that he was named Fushinomiya.

The cemetery

His family temple is Shokoku-ji Temple in Sakyo Ward, Kyoto City.
